PURPOSE:To improve adhesion to a substrate and wear resistance by incorporating a photosensitive polyester resin having o-quinonediazido groups in the side chain and an alkali-soluble resin. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive polyester resin having o-quinonediazido groups in the side chain and an alkali-soluble resin are incorporated. The photosensitive polyester resin may be obtd. by allowing polyester or modified polyester having phenolic hydroxyl groups in the side chain derived from a polycarboxylic acid component including dicarboxylic acid having a phenolic hydroxyl group or a deriv. thereof and a polyalcohol component to react with an o-quinonediazido compd. having a halogenosulfonyl group. When the resulting photosensitive compsn. is used to make a photosensitive planographic printing plate, the wear resistance of the printing plate can be improved. |
