Within the pre-fabricated floor panel a tie bar (12) is embedded. One end of the tie bar extends from the floor panel edge over the top edge of the pre-fabricated wall unit (7). On the upper edge of this wall unit a shaped section (10) allows the edge of the floor panel to be placed and a upstand (17) is used to draw in the floor section to the wall section with connector (14) threaded to the end of the tie bar. ADVANTAGE - By allowing floor embedded tie bar to connect at any point along the top of the matching wall unit, the need for precise production and placement is avoided.
