The variety allows the production of high-quality dry red wines. In terms of biological and technological qualities, it is analogous to the Mavrud variety. The leaves are of medium size, five-partite, the upper cuts are of intermediate depth, with an egg-like aperture, the low cuts are open, while the tail cut is closed. The bunch is big to very bid, conical. The grain is small, oval-shaped, of juicy content. The pellicle is thin, elastic, coloured in bright red. The productivity of vines is high, big quantities are gathered. The sort is very sugary, while the grape ripens about a month earlier than the Mavrud variety.
