PURPOSE:To enable monolithic molding without forming molding flashes at an open end, by a method wherein a cavity having an end enabling attachment of a frame material to a part of a circumferential part of plate glass is formed within a molding tool, raw materials for a frame which is in a fluidized state is cast and solidified while sealing with an elastic member buried in positions adjoining to both end surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A seal manufacturing device for prevention of an outflow of raw materials for a frame, which is in a fluidized state, to a part other than a fixed part of located plate glass 31 is provided on a top and bottom forces 11, 21. Recessed parts 13, 23 forming a cavity 2 casting the raw materials for the frame are provided respectively in mold surface 12, 22. With this construction, formation of a frame material 34 on a circumferential part 32 of the plate glass 31 is made possible. Sealing effect is given to the respective recessed parts 13, 23 by burying respectively elastic members 17, 27 into positions adjoining to the recessed parts 13, 23 providing swelling- out part 30 respectively even if the recessed part 13, 23 possess weir parts 14, 24 which can form the cavity 2 having an end. A frame material 34 molded by coinciding with a form of the cavity 2 can be formed on a circumferential part 32 by soldifying the raw material for the frame case within the cavity 2. |
