PURPOSE:To detect galling developed on a toggle pin by detecting an elastic wave generated at the time of developing the galling on the toggle pin with ultrasonic wave sensor and comparing this detected signal with the reference signal with a comparator. CONSTITUTION:In a toggle type injection forming machine, a second link group 11 is pushed with a cylinder device 9 and further, a first link group 10 is pushed with the second link group to execute die clamping of dies 6, 7. Then, in a toggle link 14 in the first link group 10, the ultrasonic wave sensor 20 is arranged and galling detecting circuit is set, e.g., at the P position in the second link group 11. The die clamping is executed in this constitution and at the time of developing the galling on the toggle pin 13, this elastic wave is detected with the ultrasonic wave sensor 20, and the detected signal is inputted to a pulse generator through a preamplifier, band filter and main amplifier. In here, the detected signal is made to pulse signal and counted with a pulse counter and at the time of being more than number of the set pulse, the galling detected signal is outputted. By this method, the galling on the toggle pin 13 can be easily detected and the recovery can be executed in a short time. |
