FUEL CELL OF MOLTEN CARBONATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the corrosion of alloy materials used in current collectors and separators by adding strontium or calcium in carbonate of Li and K to be impregnated in an electrolytic plate. CONSTITUTION:An anode electrode 2 and a cathode electrode 3 are placed respectively over and under an electrolyte plate 1. Porous current collectors 4 and 5 are respectively placed on the outer sides of the anode electrode 2 and the cathode electrode 3. Separators 6 for forming gas passages 7 are placed respectively on the outer sides of the current collectors 4 and 5. Strontium carbonate or potassium carbonate is impregnated into lithium carbonate and potassium carbonate of the electrolyte plate 1. Corrosion of alloy materials used for the current collector and the separator is prevented with this constitution.
