The present invention relates to a multi-purpose safety socket for alternative connection to it of a variety of plug pins, which includes a back block comprising two receiving channels on either side for receiving two conducting structures respectively, an earth conducting channel in the middle for receiving an earth connection structure, a dividing plate fitted on the back block for containing the conducting structures and the earth connection structure, and an upper cover covering the dividing plate and joined securely to the back block by means of a hot sealing process to form a socket assembly for subsequent connection to a panel with a structure that comprises means of retention and stop elements for firmly holding the socket assembly when it is fitted on it. <IMAGE>
