PURPOSE:To work an object to be worked in a ring-like shape by rotating a lens having a focus at a position deviated from an optical axis round the optical axis and moving a condensed spot of laser beams on an object to be worked in the ring shape. CONSTITUTION:The object to be worked is worked by a spot of laser beams 6 in the ring (annular) shape. The lens wherein laser beams 6 are condensed at the position deviated from the optical axis and brought into its focus is used. The lens 1 is rotated round the optical axis and a condensed spot of the laser beams 6 is moved on the object to be worked in the ring shape and worked. A lens 1 used is a plano-convex lens wherein one surface is spherical and the other surface is flat surface inclined to a surface vertical to the optical axis. In this way, the object to be worked can be cut in the ring shape and surface-treated. |
