PURPOSE:To obtain a photo-setting resin which is used as a protection coating material for an optical disc particularly made of a base material comprising polycarbonate and has high hardness, high marring resistance, excellent adhesiveness, and excellent water resistance by using specified two photopolymerizable compounds. CONSTITUTION:The title coating material contains photopolymerizable compounds of formulas I and II (wherein m and n are each an integer of 0 to 5; X is H or CH3; R1 is H or CH3; R2 is a dihydric or higher polyol residue; R3 is a trihydric or higher polyol residue) and, if necessary, a photopolymerizable compound other than those of formulas I and II. Examples of the photopolymerizable compound other than those of formulas I and II include a compound having one photopolymerizable double bond, such as 2- ethylhexyl (meth)acrylate, and a compound having at least four photopolymerizable double bonds, such as pentaerythritol tetra(meth)acrylate. |
