Safety container for lightning arrester (7), this container constituting, for example, a clip-fastenable protective module. A reinforced metal spring (16), in the shape of an inverted L, is provided in the bottom (18) of the casing. It bears against the body of the lightning arrester (7) via a fusible insulating pellet (21) and its free end (22) ends a short distance (d) from the corresponding terminal (8).
