The subject of the invention is a musical (wind) instrument, the "AB" clarinet which replaces two existing instruments: "A" clarinet and "B" clarinet. By using the main conversion lever connected to the transposition system, the musician can, at any given moment, convert the instrument to either an "A" clarinet or to a "B" clarinet, the fingering remaining the same.
