<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by setting another voltage level between the maximum value of a reference trianguar wave and the maximum value of a speed command and eliminating the application of a voltage to the terminal of a DC motor in the state that the triangular wave output does not reach the speed command. CONSTITUTION:Another voltage level is determined between the maximum value of a triangular wave of reference and a speed command when the speed of a DC motor is zero. When the output of the triangular wave is lower than the speed command, transistors 11-14 are interrupted. When the triangular output is, on the other hand, lower than a voltage level determined when higher than the speed command, the transistors 11, 14 are conducted to apply a positive going DC voltage to the terminal of the motor. When the triangular wave output is higher than the predetermined voltage level, the transistors 12, 13 are conducted to apply a DC voltage of reverse direction to the terminal of the motor. The motor is controlled at the speed by the average value of the applied voltages.</p> |
