The one-piece safety helmet (1) for bicycle riders and/or sportsmen comprises a chin strap (4) and chin-bracket (3). Part (7) and/or the whole chin-strap (4) and/or their fixture-points (6) on the helmet (1) and/or the chin-bracket (3) and/or the forehead part (2) of the helmet (1) are shock-absorbent and plastically deformable. The part (7) is coiled, spiral or corrugated, and made of a metal strip (7a), or is in the form of piston-cylinder unit (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Part of the chin strap is designed to absorb the shock of impact and to convert it into plastic deformation of the helmet parts, to avoid injury.
