PURPOSE:To improve an electronic component in mounting accuracy by a method wherein component suction nozzles are arranged radially and rotatably around a horizontal shaft arranged vertical to a rotating shaft which enables a head to rotate. CONSTITUTION:A head 5 is supported at the tip of each rotatable shaft 1 through the intermediary of a connecting arm 2 so as to be rotatable around a horizontal shaft 3, component suction nozzles 6 different in shape are arranged radially around the horizontal shaft 3, and the center axis of the nozzle 6 to use is arranged so as to align its center axis with the rotating axis of the shaft 1. Therefore, a correction for the nozzle 6 offcentered from a head rotating axis added to a position instruction which is given to an X-Y table to position a printed board becomes small, and the error of a head rotating angle has little effect on the position accuracy of the nozzle 6 in the directions of X and Y, so that an electronic component can be improved in mounting accuracy. |
