The applicator is rod-shaped and consists of a sleeve (1), contg. the cosmetics etc. which are discharged via one or more holes on the head of the rod. The bottom of the rod has a rotary knob (6), by which a piston (3) in the sleeve is moved towards the head end. Between the sleeve and the rotary knob are fitted resilient catches (13). The piston is pref. held by a spindle (4), between which and the sleeve (1) is a hollow cylindrical neck section (7) with a ring (8), preventing axial motion.
