The hydraulic selector valve is for a control system with load pressure compensation, having a slide working in a housing and with a first recess forming a throttle in the path of the current from pump to motor. A feed chamber is connected, in different positions of the slide, to one of the other of the motor unions, while the other union discharges to the return pipe. Downstream of the throttle is a second throttle chamber, the connection to which from a return chamber is regulated by a control edge on the slide. At the throttle there is a connecting port for the load pressure compensation control. The slide (26) is so designed that the first throttle (42) opens before the throttle recess (52) in it. The connecting port (37) is downstream of the first throttle, and discharges to the tank via controls (45) regulated by the slide.
