PURPOSE:To supply an NET CUE transmitter-receiver having high accuracy to each CATV station by allocating by NET CUE information to a user's bit of a VITC used widely in a broadcasting VTR and transmitting it easily. CONSTITUTION:In a CUE transmitter, an information input is inputted from a terminal 8 and accumulated in a character information buffer 9, and applied to a VITC generating block 5 by one character each in one frame. On the other hand, while the buffer 9 controls a discriminating information generating block, and transfers character information to the block 5, discriminating information for making the character information effective is generated. Subsequently, a VITC signal from the block is VITC-mixed 2 with a video signal from an input terminal 1 and outputted 3. On the other hand, in an NET CUE receiver, when a VITC separation 11 is executed, and it is discriminated and confirmed 13 that VITC information is effective, a signal for opening a gate is outputted to a control signal gate 15 and an information gate 14. Next, a VITC-decoded 12 control signal is outputted 16. In the same way, character information is also outputted from an information output terminal 17. |
