PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a failure that sounding from MIDI equipment is not stopped and so on by supplying an action off signal recorded corresponding to a discontinuous playing condition indicating signal from a recording medium playing device to the MIDI equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a conditional signal which indicates a discontinuous playing condition is supplied from a player controller 7 during the processing of a main routine, the processor of an MIDI controller 24 starts an interrupting action. In the interrupting action, the processor reads a note on message written in a RAM 25, generates a note off message and makes it output from the controller 24 to MIDI equipment 26. Since the note off message is supplied to the equipment 26, sounding generated by the corresponding note on message is stopped. Then, it is judged whether other control on messages are written in the RAM 25 or not, and when it is judged that it is not, the processing of the main routine is restored. |
