Panels forming partitions or dividing walls are fixed to uprights formed from sheet metal C-shaped sections. The section has a web (12) and two flanges (11,11'). The flanges are connected to the web (12) by U shaped resilient joints. These permit a limited degree of angular movement of the flanges w.r.t the web. This angular movement is limited by an abutment formed by the upper and lower edges of the straight part of the web (12).
