PURPOSE:To obtain a variable light attenuator calibrated with high accuracy, by generating a plurality of scintillations different in light output intensity and utilizing the group thereof as a multiple light source. CONSTITUTION:Two scintillations, which are different in light output intensity, consisting of a sodium iodide scintillator and a radio isotope emitting gamma-rays having different energies are generated from a scintillation light source 1. These scintillations are inputted to a multiple pulse wave analyzer 4 through a light detector 2. Lights from a pulse light source 5 as a test light generating light source and a variable light attenuator 6 to be tested are also inputted to the light detector 2. The peak corresponding to the output light intensity of the attenuator 6 appears in the pulse peak spectrum obtained in the analyzer 4. |
