PURPOSE:To obtain a lens driving device, which can correctly transmit the rotational operation of a focus motor to a nut and normally operate a moving frame for focus lens even at a low environmental temperature, by providing a notched part at the gear part of the nut in an engaging part between a screw shaft and the nut. CONSTITUTION:When a focus motor 28 is rotated, a screw shaft 29 is rotated and since a notched part 33 notching one part of a gear part 32 of a nut 31 is provided in the engaging part between the screw shaft 29 and the nut 31, however, sliding resistance between the screw shaft 29 and the nut 31 is reduced. Further, since the excess part of grease to be normally applied to the gear part 32 of the nut 31 drops into the notched part 33, the excess sliding resistance caused by setting the grease is reduced as well even in the low temperature environment. Thus, the rotational operation of a focus motor 29 is correctly transmitted to the nut and a moving frame 23 for focus lens can be normally slid and operated. |
