Adjustable spring device on reversible ploughs - protects plough-bodies when they encounter stone

The device is for protecitng each pair of plough-bodies (2, 3) mounted on the tubular beam of a reversible plough against damage. It enables it to yield or tilt if it encounters a stone. It involves a pre-tensioned compression spring which creates an adjustable withdrawal force, and which is supported on a pressure piece (10) in the front of the tubular beam. The pressure piece (10) is axially adjustable in the tubular beam (5) by means of adjusting elements (31). USE/ADVANTAGE - The spring pre-tensioning is easy and simple to adjust.
