A protective mask for use in atomic, bacteriological and chemical warfare, is provided with a drink container. The flexible container (1) is attached to the mask (20) by a flexible tube (4). The latter receives the tapered end (3) of a spout, attached to a tube (6) which is secured to the mask by a fitting (19). The end of the spout is closed by a plug (7) which can be broken off along a line of weakness (9). A non-return valve (13) is fitted inside the spout.
