PURPOSE:To improve the operability and to use the telephone set the same as a conventional telephone set (telephone set with cord) by hooking automatically off a handset when the handset placed on a charger is lifted up and bringing the on-hook state automatically when the handset is placed on the charger. CONSTITUTION:A charging voltage monitor section 5 and a control section 4 monitoring a charging voltage of a charging terminal section 6 are provided in a handset 2 of a cordless telephone set comprising of a connector 1, the handset 2 and a charger 3 charging the battery in the handset 2, and when the handset 2 is lifted up by the charging voltage monitor section 5 and the absence of a charging voltage is detected by a charging terminal section 6, the control section 4 generates a radio line connection request signal to send the signal to the connector 1, the handset is automatically hooked off to attain talking and after the end of talking, the charging voltage monitor section 5 detects the generation of the charging voltage at the charging terminal section 6 while the handset 2 is placed on the charger 3, then an end of call signal is generated from the control section 4 and sent to the connector 1 thereby causing on-hook state automatically. |
