A sealed industrial floor covering consists of concrete floor slabs (1) which are kept apart from one another by means of interposed spacers (2) so as to form joints (3) and possess, above the spacers (2) on their end faces (4), a longitudinal hollow (5) arranged at a distance from the slab upper surface (9). A joint seal (6) having an extensible sealing strand (7) running in the longitudinal hollows (5) of adjacent floor slabs (1) is introduced into the formed joints (3). Sealing is ensured with such a floor covering even with greater stresses if the joint seal (6) consists of two sealing strands (7, 8), arranged at a distance above one another, in the form of a highly extensible joint sealing compound, one (7) of which runs solely in the mutually assigned longitudinal hollows (5) and the other (8) of which runs above the same (5).
