A wheelchair with a movable carriage (1), which has a supporting frame (2) of adjustable inclination with an articulated seat (3) and, connected pivotably to the seat (3) and to the supporting frame (2), a backrest (4). The seat (3) connected pivotably to the supporting frame (2) is guided in longitudinally displaceable bearings (40) arranged on both sides. Attached in an articulated manner to these bearings (40) is in each case a stay bar or draw bar (37), the other end of which is connected to the supporting frame (2) in an articulated manner and at a distance from the articulation point (30) of the seat (3). In order to displace the bearings (40), an adjusting element (43), for example a threaded spindle, engages thereon. By means of the motor-activated or manually activated displacement of the bearings (40) via the adjusting element (43), a stepless adjustment of the inclination of the seat (3) and of the backrest (4) into the particular desired position is carried out, for example a seating position with any desired angle between seat (3) and backrest (4), the extended position (couch) or a superextended position (synchronous couch). <IMAGE> |
