PURPOSE:To make the velocity of air and the reach thereof uniform and thereby to reduce the nonuniformity of temperature in a room by making the length dimension of an outlet of an air passage accord substantially with the length dimension of a cross flow fan and also by tapering off the end part of this outlet. CONSTITUTION:An outlet 27 is shaped to be elliptic aid the right and left end parts of the outlet 27 are shaped in curved surfaces 29, that is, put in a tapered state. By putting the end parts of the outlet in the tapered state, in other words, a range between the maximum and minimum values of the velocity of air in the central part of this outlet is diminished. By shaping the outlet 27 to be elliptic, accordingly, the velocity of air through the whole of the outlet 27 is turned uniform substantially in contrast to the case when an outlet 32 is rectangular. Thereby, the reach of air discharged from the outlet 27 is made uniform substantially and the occurrence of nonuniformity of temperature in a room is reduced. |
