PURPOSE:To prevent a traveling member from dropping, by constructing suction member used for a traveling body traveling on a vertical wall surface of a in such a manner that it maintains negative pressure even if a vehicle body inclines. CONSTITUTION:A traveling suction member comprises an adsorbing member body 3, a flexible joint 4 for connecting the suction member body and a vehicle body and means for producing negative pressure in the suction member body. An inclination of a main body affects only to the vehicle body and a suction force normal to a wall is applied to the suction member at all times by connecting the suction member body to the vehicle body, whereby the vehicle body is prevented from being dropped. |
