PURPOSE:To efficiently relieve a deadband in a communication system having lots of channels with sample constitution by storing tentatively a channel designation signal from a base station at a repeater and resenting the signal to the deadband with the same frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a radio wave from a base station in a relay station is received in the presence of a call from a mobile radio equipment Mob 3, the coincidence with an IC code (stored in a memory) sent precedingly is confirmed. When the sent channel number is similarly stored, the channel number designated with the ID code is sent to the mobile station 3. Then a relay radio equipment VCH in busy is activated so as to have a frequency relating to the designated relay channel is started in the repeater station. Then the mobile station receiving a signal corresponding to the designated channel and its own ID code makes transmission and reception through the designated channel. |
