PURPOSE: To easily use seals by constituting plural connected seals, which can be separated by cutting a string, of seal main bodies and junction elements, which are alternately formed on the string apart from each other, and string parts between them. CONSTITUTION: A string 10 having no breaks consists of seal main bodies 11 and complementary junction elements 12 formed on the string 10. Each main body 11 incorporates a seat 13 where teeth 14 to receive a flexible fin 15 of the junction element 12 are formed. When the junction element 12 is inserted to the seat 13, the fin 15 is bent toward the main body of the junction element 12 and passes teeth 14 and springs outward and is prevented from being retreated. when a seal will be used, the string is rewound up to a first element group forming the seal, and the string is cut between this element group and the next element group. That is, the string is cut between junction elements 12 facing each other. |
