PURPOSE:To make it possible to feed a specified color and prevent the mixing of color even when each recording head is mounted at any position by the arrangement such that an ink feed part has a length to cover entirely the arrangement of the recording heads in a direction of the arrangement and an ink connection part of each recording head is disposed at a different position corresponding to the kind of ink. CONSTITUTION:Each ink feed part 9-1 - 9-4 extends so as to entirely cover recording heads 1-1 - 1-4 in the direction of arrangement thereof, i.e. in the direction A so that each of the ink feed parts has a length sufficient to receive ink connection parts 3-1 - 3-4 of the heads 1-1 - 1-4. Since the parts 3-1 - 3-4 are arranged at different positions, each of the heas can feed ink to a different position in the direction Y corresponding to each of the ink feed parts 9-1 - 9-4. When the recording heads 1 are mounted and the ink feed parts 9 receive the ink connection parts 3, the parts 3 are fitted into holes 9-B of the parts 9 so that a seal ball 21 is pushed down against a seal spring 22. As a result, an ink feed passage at a notch 3-B is provided to deliver ink through an ink passage 3-A to an ink delivery port 5. |
