The centrifugal spreader has storage hoppers with metering devices at the bottom, delivering to driven rotary discs with impeller blades. The discs (16) can be driven at different speeds, each one with its own variable speed drive mechanism. The input gearbox pref. has two coupling shafts with different gear ratios, and the magnitudes supplied to the discs can be adjustable separately or together.
