<p>PURPOSE:To display a still image on a large screen with high resolution by working document image data higher than the resolution of a display and dividing it, reading them out temporarily to an image data read-out memory and storing them in the corresponding frame memory. CONSTITUTION:A document is subjected to image pickup by an image input device 9 and its image data is worked to resolution of two folds of resolution of each unit screen 5a - (d) of a multi-screen display 5, divided into four, sent to an image file controller 1 and accumulated in an image data file. By the operation of an operation terminal 2, the divided image data which are read out temporarily to image data read-out memories 7a - (d) corresponding to the unit screens 5a - (d) are stored in the corresponding frame memories 6a - (d), respectively. Subsequently, when the divided image data of a one-frame portion is written, a prescribed divided still image can be displayed on the displays 5a - (d) with the same resolution as that of the unit screen.</p> |
