<p>Instead of the natural ivory, a key material having an ivory-like-quality is formed by an artificial material, i.e., hardened resin (1). The hardened resin is formed by a matrix (2) made of thermosetting resin and filler. In this matrix, a plenty of thermoplastic resin particles (3) are homogeneously dispersed, so that a plurality of micro-voids (4) are formed around each thermoplastic resin particle. Preferably, the thermosetting resin, filler and thermoplastic resin particle respectively contain un-saturated polyester resin, aluminium hydroxide and vinyl acetate resin. <IMAGE></p> |
