<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove dust in gas by providing heaters in each flow passage in the downstream side of a damper, and filters in each flow passage in the downstream side of the heaters. CONSTITUTION:When the electric heater 5 is turned off and the damper 4 of a flow passage 7 is opened, gas is entered into the flow passage 7 from a gas duct 1, and dust and mist, etc., are caught by the ceramic foams of the filter 6 when the gas passes through the filter 6. When the filter 6 is to be regenerated, the damper 4 is closed and the electric heater is turned on, then small amount of gas flows into the gas passage 7, which is heated by the electric heater 5 to high temp. with small amount of energy, and the heated gas passes uniformly through the filter 6 and heats the surface of the filter 6 effectively and uniformly. By this method, the regeneration of the filter 6 is carried out with small amount of energy.</p> |
