<p>PURPOSE:To effectively recognize a mounting direction by forming the lengths of electrode films on both right and left end faces of a chip of a hexahedron in the film direction substantially equal to its width perpendicular thereto, and attaching a mark indicating the direction of both terminal electrode films to the front or rear surface of a chip body. CONSTITUTION:A resistance film 12 is provided on the surface 11a of a chip 11 of an insulating board, electrode films 13, 14 are provided on the end faces 11b, 11c, and covered with a glass film 15. The length L along the direction of the films 13, 14 is formed to be the same or substantially the same as the width W of an insulation board 11 substantially in a square shape, a mark 16 of triangular shape or the like is sealed to display the direction of the films 13, 14. According to this structure, the surface of the film 15 is, for example, absorbed, held, a mark 16 of the rear surface is identified to effectively recognize the direction of the films 13, 14.</p> |
