<p>PURPOSE:To monitor the abnormality of a process by taking the state of a LAN connection equipment without reference to whether the state is normal or abnormal, recognizing its tendency, and detecting the abnormality when a specific threshold value is exceeded. CONSTITUTION:A supervisor control system 17 takes out the operation states of a process computer 6, a process input/output device 7, and a programmable controller 8 which are connected to a LAN 1 by a message transmitting function 19 without reference to whether the operation states are normal or abnormal, and those states are stored in a memory 18. The tendency of the stored information is recognized at all times and when the specific threshold value is exceeded, the supervisor control system 17 outputs an abnormality detection signal directly. Consequently, the abnormality of the process can be monitored without adding additional facilities.</p> |
