PURPOSE:To obtain a proper filter function even with the use of ink having relatively high concentration or viscosity to perform an ideal printing by a method wherein an absolute removal ratio of a filter to the ink is determined in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A first filter 3 is disposed nearest to a delivery port 1A for delivering ink and an ink liquid path 1 connecting to the delivery port. The filter has an absolute removal ratio of 45 to 255mum to the ink. For the material of the filter, a sintered gauze made of a material having resistance to chemicals, such as ceramics and metal, a metallic mesh machined by electroforming, a plastic porous film, and the like are preferably used because of no possibility of generating dusts of their own. It is preferable for increasing the area of the filter that the filter is disposed so as to have a large ink capacity forward and/or backward of the filter. |
