<p>PURPOSE:To reduce height required for a device by providing a notch part on a tape non-winding part at the upper part of an upper cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The notch part 19 is provided on the tape non-winding part of the fixed upper cylinder 18 of a magnetic head 1, and the fixed upper cylinder 18 is fixed to a fixed shaft 17. By this constitution, when a rotary magnetic head device 11 is fitted to a chassis 14 while being inclined by a prescribed angle, the height required for a side higher than a part where the tape 13 of the device 11 is wound round becomes small, and consequently, the height required for the whole device 11 is reduced and a VTR can be miniaturized further.</p> |
