<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate an operation of video recording reservation by reading video recording reservation information from a video recording reservation card fitted to a tape cassette and setting and controlling the video recording accordingly. CONSTITUTION:When the tape cassette fitted with the video recording reservation card is inserted, the insertion is detected by a tape cassette detecting switch 14, and an optical read part 16 is driven by a read control circuit 15 to read the video recording reservation card, and then the read information is recognized by a recognition circuit 17. The information recognized by a video recording reservation information read means 18 is supplied to a system control circuit 19, and a video recording channel, a starting date and time and an ending date and time are set in a memory 20. Next, the starting date and time set in the memory 20 is repeatedly compared with a date and time of a timer 21, and upon coincidence, a command of commencing the video recording is outputted to a video recording means 25, and a tuner 23 is changed for a video recording channel, and then the video recording is commenced by a signal recording part 24. Consequently, the video recording reservation is securely carried out without performing a troublesome operation.</p> |
