摘要 PURPOSE: To separate an effluent by simply combining conventional two devices of simulated countercurrents in series, thereby successively passing a mixture therethrough efficiently with less solvent consumption and in an amt. of a fixed phase smaller than that of using discontinuous sepn. at an elute gradient. CONSTITUTION: An inlet of the mixture, an outlet of refined matter R, an inlet of a strong solvent S2 , an outlet of an extract E2 , an inlet of a weak solvent S1 , an outlet of an extract E1 and an outlet of a recirculating stream are periodically advances in synchronization in the flow direction of the mixture and the solvents via a sorbent column and are moved in zones 2 to 6 in the sorbent column. Three fractions contg. respectively at least one component, i.e., the refined matter R and the extracts E1, E2 are formed. The one or plural components of the respective fractions are completely recovered. The recirculating stream taken out of the downstream end of the zone 2 are alternately and successively passed to the upstream end of the zone 6 and the upstream end of the zone 5 and part of the stream drawn out of the downstream end of the zone 6 is alternately and successively passed to the upstream end of the zone 5 and the outlet of the extract E2.
