PURPOSE: To obtain a composition having excellent magnetic characteristics, high temperature resistance, oil, solvent and chemical resistance, good air aging characteristics and being hardened at the room temperature under atmosphere by adding a mixture of rare earth magnetic particles into a binder system and hardening a molding through exposure to a high voltage electron beam. CONSTITUTION: The soft magnetic blend composition having maximum energy product of at least 2.5MGs0e, remanence Br of at least 3400Gs, coercive force Hc of at least 2900Oe and internal coercive force of at least 5000Oe has a binder system added with a mixture of rare earth magnetic particles and then it is molded and hardened through exposure to a high voltage electron beam. It can sustain at least about 20% of breaking elongation (23 deg.C, ASTM D412) after being aged for 100 hours at 125 deg.C and swelling of of less than 5vol.% after immersion into ASTM #1 and #3 for 46 hours at 23 deg.C. It can be extrusion molded into a strip or rolled into a sheet where the mixture can sustain the shape before and after being hardened through exposure to a high voltage electron beam. |
