PURPOSE:To prevent a high-voltage output terminal from being exposed from a lighting circuit, obtain a safe discharge lamp with no electric shock, shorten the connection distance between the discharge lamp and the lighting circuit, and reduce the occurrence of noises by connecting the lighting circuit and a stable circuit with a connector, and directly connecting the lighting circuit and the discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:A lighting circuit 17 and a stable circuit 16 are connected with a connector 28, and the lighting circuit 17 and a discharge lamp 1 are directly connected. No high-voltage output terminal is exposed from the lighting circuit 17, and a handler is prevented from being brought into contact with the output terminal section of the lighting circuit 17 at the time of the replacement or inspection of the discharge lamp 1 or a circuit (the lighting circuit 17 or stable circuit 16). The discharge lamp 1 is safe with no possibility of an electric shock, the connection distance between the discharge lamp 1 and lighting circuit 17 can be shortened, and the occurrence of noises can be reduced. |
