PURPOSE:To exactly detect sensitized white blood cells with high accuracy and simple operation without inflicting pain on the patient by adding existing antigen materials to a liquid to be tested and making electrochemical measurement. CONSTITUTION:Cow's milk, shrimps, mackerels, cedar poollen, animal hair, ticks, insects, dust, vaccine, penicillin, mildew, etc., which are the allergens of the existing antigen materials are added to the blood which is the liquid to be inspected and is taken from the patient, by which this blood is put into an allergic symptom state. The electrochemical measurement is then carried out by impressing a voltage between a working electrode and counter electrode immersed in this soln. and measuring the generated current. The white blood cells sensitized by the antigen materials are detected if the quantity of the seronitron and histamine released by the antigen materials is determined. The sensitized white blood cells of the allergic patient are detected exactly with the high accuracy by the simple operation without making measurement while injecting the allergens to the patient and without inflicting pain on the patient. |
