PURPOSE:To monitor a process value on a large and a small different scale as to the same channel by providing each of the large scale and small scale with full-scale upper-limit and lower-limit values, respectively, and switching the two scales mutually according to the contents of a scale switching condition signal. CONSTITUTION:The state of a process 11 is measured by a sensor 12 and converted into an electric signal of a voltage, a current, etc., which is inputted to a sensor input processor 13. The sensor input processor 13 converts the input signal from the sensor 12 according to whether the current scale is the large or small scale and the converted signal is inputted as the measured value signal of a process to a process signal input/output device through a signal line 16. The scale switching condition signal is inputted from the sensor input processor 13 to the process signal input/output device 14 through a signal line 17 and a computer 15 for control monitors the process measured value signal with the two kinds of large and small scales as to signals inputted to the same channel according to the process measured value signal and scale switching condition signal which are inputted through the process signal input/output device 14. |
