摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To realize the air flow rate detector capable of accurately detecting the air flow rate in any flow rate area by forming a measurement passage where an electric resistance is interposed of an upstream-side passage part, a center passage part, a downstream-side passage part, and a sideward passage part. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical container 11 provided with the measurement passage is arranged in a suction passage 9 and the electric resistance 1 and a temperature compensating resistance 3A are interposed nearby the downstream- side end part of the upstream-side passage part 13 to constitute a bridge circuit. Part of air flowing through the suction passage 9 flows in the upstream-side passage part 13, then flows in the center passage part 14 and discharged again to the suction passage 9 from the downstream-side passage part 15 and sideward passage part 16. While the air flows, the air flow rate is detected from the quantity (output voltage) of electricity fed to the electric resistance 1. At this time, the flow rate of the air flowing in the suction passage 9 and the output voltage vary in 1:1 proportion even in a fast rotating operation area since the downstream-side passage part 15 and sideward passage part 16 are provided, so the air flow rate can accurately be detected in any operation area.</p>
