PURPOSE:To provide fluidity through agitation and mixture of excavated soil and sludge and to facilitate discharge of soil by arranging an agitating device, comprising a plurality of agitating impellers and an agitating rod, in the chamber of a shield excavator in the shape of a square in cross section. CONSTITUTION:An agitating device 20 comprising three agitating impellers 22, and agitating rod 23 transmitting rotation of the agitating blades and the agitating rod itself being revolved, a coupling pin 24, and an electric motor 25 is mounted on a partition wall 5 in the vicinity of a sludge discharge port 21a of a shield excavator body 1 in the shape of a square in cross section. Through forward running and reversing of the motor 25, a central impeller 22 is rotated, and the impellers 22 and 22 on both sides are rotated through the agitating rod 23 in linkage with the rotation of the central impeller. Excavated soil taken in a chamber 27 and sludge delivered through a sludge feed pipe 28 are agitated and mixed together to provide fluidity. Further, excavated soil is discharged through a discharge port 21a to the outside by means of a sludge discharge pipe 21 without consolidating and being deposited in the chamber 27. |
