PURPOSE:To realize a highly reliable ink supply system of simple structure by blocking a communication hole which connects both pressure absorption parts together using a mesh filter and attaching flexible film to both surfaces of a main pressure damper system. CONSTITUTION:Microbubbles captured by a mesh filter 29 which blocks a communication hole 28 running through both pressure absorption parts 26a, 26b collect together to become a large bubble. If this bubble grows beyond a certain size, it becomes separated from the mesh filter 28 by buoyancy, then accumulates in the upper part of the pressure absorption part 36a, and is discharged from a bubble discharge path 25 by purge suction. For this reason, the mesh filter 29 never becomes clogged, thus enabling a stable ink supply. In addition, providing the mesh filter 29 in a pressure damper 22 makes a device compact. Further, an ink pressure variation is absorbed in the form of vibrations of flexible films 13, 14 provided in such a manner that the films seal the pressure absorption parts 26a, 26b hermetically as seen in a conventional design. |
