PURPOSE: To produce an adhesive paste in which adhesion to a material film is enhanced while avoiding the drawback of undue etching by adding glycol ether to a swelling agent for treating a synthetic resin prior to electroless metallization. CONSTITUTION: Glycol ether is a compound represented by a general formula: R1 (OCH2 .CH2 )n-OR2 (in the formula, R1 and R2 may be identical or different and represent alkyl group or allyl group, where n is an integer of 1-8, preferably 1-4). The glycol ether is added by 0.1-100wt.%, preferably 20-70wt.%, to an aqueous solution. A swelling agent can be employed over a wide temperature range, preferably from the room temperature to the boiling point thereof. A material thus produced is employed in significantly wide application in the form of a molding having a wiring pattern in electronic engineering.
