PURPOSE: To prevent damage of a shaft by interposing a key between a hollow coupling connecting a motor side to the shaft and the shaft, and bringing the key into contact with the shaft by a strong force compression means while holding the key under a weak force at the time of releasing. CONSTITUTION: A slot 40 is formed at an upper end 24 of a shaft 15, a hollow coupling 42 is arranged, and a vertical rotational shaft is formed. Then, an upper end thereof is connected to a motor side output hub 66 by a pin 70. A key 44 is arranged at an opening of a coupling 42 and engaged therewith, and brought into contact with the shaft 15 by a fastening screw 46 being a compression means. A holding means is formed of a bolt 48 inserted into a threadless opening of a side wall of the coupling 42 and a spring 50. The spring 50 has a weaker acting force than the screw 46, and the key 44 is brought into contact with the shaft 15 by the action of the screw 46 while the key 44 is separated from the shaft 15 when released. Accordingly, the shaft is increased in its strength for lessening its damage. |
